As a pro tour bicycle mechanic, and staff mechanic for a cycling industry leader, I spend my days working on the highest level racing bicycles in the world, in some of the most challenging environments, and there is no room for error.
Richard "Weeg" Wiegert
Pro Cycling Mechanic and Master's Athlete
USAC certified Pro Race Mechanic Rick Wiegert has been wrenching bikes for a better part of his adult life. In addition to a demanding profession, he owns and operates ‘Weeg’s Wheel Works,’ and is also a Magura Dealer/Tech Service Center. As a Master’s-level athlete, he has participated in countless endurance events in most disciplines of cycling. Rick serves both the local Sandhills area of NC, and beyond. He is known for his clinical approach to his work, that lends him the name ‘The Bike Doctor’ of his area.
